These images were sent to me by Alex Stone, currently serving aboard a USAF command and control aircraft. Alex is currently restoring/modifying a 1966 Chevelle SS (the real deal, not a fake!) with a big ol' Rat shoe horned in between the fenders into a bad ass hotrod he swears will smoke my beater Vette at the track any day of the week ;-)
If you have a moment and a spare stamp, please drop Alex and his crew a letter. He's a true blue motorhead, so don't be shy in sharing your own hot rod tales or even a photo or two with him and the guys.
I know when I was in the Navy, that nothing beat a letter from home. When I went to Riyadh during Desert Storm as a contractor back in '91, the many letters folks sent to "Any Service Member" were all eagerly read and appreciated by all the guys and gals in uniform. I'm sure that is still the case today.
