Street Twin Clutch Images

The entire clutch assembly as shipped. This is a
steel flywheel, you can also get an aluminum one.

That's a just a stock LT1 Valeo pressure plate that
has been painted Mcleod red. Wonder if a Centerforce
pressure plate would hold even more power?

The pressure plate has been removed showing the first
friction disc.

Removing the top friction disc reveals the floater plate. You can see the 2nd disc through the holes in the plate.

Normally, the hubs on the friction discs come chamfered.
This is not good, as it reduces the input shaft contact
area. If you ask, Mcleod will ship your friction discs
with non-chamfered hubs. This is worth asking for.

This is the "sandwich" formed by the flywheel, disc #1,
floater plate and disc #2. The pressure plate is then
installed on top of this stack. Two friction discs hold
twice the power of a single disc clutch.

An "exploded" view of the entire stack up. In order
from rear to front: Flywheel, disc #1, floater, disk
#2, pressure plate w/the throw out bearing installed.

Shim stack heights for the pressure plate studs and the
floater bolts, mainly for my own edification
